We have been conducting the offsite component of audits for years. The largest areas of demand are solicitors trust account audits, real estate trust account audits and non for-profit audits. Some clients also audit body corporates and family foundations and have other adhoc audits. When something needs to be checked to be correct against a source document or needs to be compared with transactions through a bank account, then we can do it. We unfortunately cannot go through a filing cabinet of paper but we can do everything else.
If you do not have templates or workpapers we have developed them for most audit types.
We are familiar with the Real Estate audit requirements in all states along with solicitor trust audits. We can easily check if a solicitor for example has reconciled their account within 15 business days of the end of month.
As there are auditing seasons we can provide extra staff for say the solicitors trust audit season from 31st March to 15th May to ensure that your existing staff can keep focus on the yearend tax lodgement obligations which also end in May.
